Congratulations to Ayden Tolliver as he committed to DePauw University yesterday evening! We are always so proud of our student-athletes as they work to continue their success on and off the field! SERVPRO of Bloomington is awarding an Excellence in Education Award, per nominations from community members. The award was geared toward those individuals in the educational system who are making a difference in the lives of our young people. We asked the community to nominate custodians, teachers, bus drivers, aides, administrators, etc., and after the nominations came in for January, our judges chose your nomination to receive the Excellence in Education Award from our franchises. Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Cuellar!! Well deserved!

Congratulations to the following students who competed and placed in the career development competition for JAG regionals. With five 1st place and two 2nd place trophies, Mitchell swept the competition!!! Mitchell Community Schools Dollars for Scholars will open their scholarships on Tuesday February 7th. Seniors who are interested will have a meeting in flex on that date to help them with the application process. Be sure to be there! If you are unable to attend please talk to Mr. Kearns. There are about $100,000 in scholarships for any student who is graduating from MHS in the 2022-2023 school year. This includes 7 semester grads.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT— The Mitchell vs. Bloomington South boys basketball game has been postponed until Saturday Feb. 4. JV will tip-off at 11:00am with Varsity to follow.
