In the efforts of Collaboration between Mitchell Community Schools and Shoals Community Schools- The athletic departments have mutually agreed the IHSAA sanctioned controlled scrimmage on November 18, 2021 will be closed to the public. The joint athletic departments believe this scrimmage is another practice for our boy’s teams to prepare for their upcoming season. As Mitchell prepares for Springs Valley and Shoals prepares for Union Dugger.

To wrap up the FFA convention day, the group went to the zoo. Animal care, feed and environment fall into the Agriculture Animal Science/Biology area.
They also learned about Ocean environmental impact even though you may not live by the ocean.

FFA Trip to Indianapolis. They engaged with AG celebs, visited colleges, received a lot of free gifts, and purchased 4H equipment.

It is game day! MHS will hold a pep rally this afternoon for all of our Sectional and Regional matches today and tomorrow! Football travels to Clarksville for kickoff at 7 pm and Volleyball faces North Posey at 11am tomorrow at home! Let's get hype for our student athletes!!
